The holidays are famous for seasonal treats that are filled with sugar but lack added benefits like protein, vitamins & minerals. But don’t worry… as an influencer who my shares my passion for a healthy plant-based lifestyle via Instagram and my site, I’ve developed a list of favorite seasonal swaps that taste DELICIOUS.

These healthier versions will satisfy your cravings without leaving you on a sugar high!

Seasonal coffee drinks. Skip the sugary syrups and make your own pumpkin spice latte at home with the added benefits of real pumpkin! It’s so easy to make, tastes like a dream and you get a boost of vitamins + minerals from the pumpkin without hidden added sugar.

Pumpkin Spice Latte

Pumpkin Spice Latte

Combine in blender:

  • Plant-based milk of your choice
  • Coffee or cold brew
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 2-3 spoonfuls organic pumpkin purée
  • 1 tsp maple syrup
  • 1 tsp pumpkin pie spice

Blend and pour over ice.

Pumpkin desserts. Bypass those processed sugary desserts for an easy vegan & gluten free pumpkin dessert dip that’s loaded with protein, vitamins, minerals and antioxidants! It’s a perfectly “dippable” dip that goes great on a snack plate and is a perfect for appetizer for Thanksgiving season dinner parties.

Pumpkin Dessert Dip

Combine in food processor:

  • 1 cup pumpkin purée
  • 2 tbsp apple sauce
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp Maple syrup
  • 2 tbsp cashew butter
  • 1 can chickpeas, rinsed and drained

Blend until fully blended. Top with pumpkin pie spice and pumpkin seeds (optional) and pair with apples, pears, cinnamon cookies or other seasonal treats.
